MARDIN / ILISU DAM AND HES

It is the largest dam on the Tigris River between the provincial borders of Mardin and Şırnak.

The lake area is within the provincial borders of Diyarbakır, Batman, Mardin, Siirt, Şırnak.

It is the 2nd largest dam in Turkey in terms of filling volume and the 4th largest dam in Turkey in terms of installed capacity.

It is the first in the world in terms of filling volume in the type of dam with a concrete front face.

The drilling andgroutingworks carried out for the purpose of ground impermeability within the scope of the construction of the Ilısu Dam and HEPP project were completed by the companies we are partners with.
