PROJECT DETAILS

ANKARA / GÜRSÖĞÜT 1-2 DAM and HES (2020)

It is located in the Central Anatolia Region, upstream of the Kargı Dam on the Sakarya River and south of the Beypazarı district of Ankara province.

Gürsöğüt-1 Dam and HEPP is a roller-compacted concrete dam type with a 207 thousand cubic meter body fill and is 86 meters high.
Gürsöğüt-2 Dam and HEPP is a roller-compacted concrete dam type with a 262 thousand cubic meter body fill and is 49 meters high.

Construction works at Gürsöğüt 1-2 Dam and HEPP have been completed and DSİ provisional acceptances have been made. Energy production has started at Gürsöğüt-1 Dam and HEPP, while Gürsöğüt-2 Dam and HEPP started energy production at the beginning of 2021.
Drilling andgroutingworks for ground impermeability within the scope of the Gürsöğüt 1-2 Dam and HEPP project construction were completed by our company.
